Executive Board
Elected in April 2025, the Executive Board of the Lisbon Investment Society brings together a diverse group of department heads who represent the breadth of our community. Composed of undergraduate and master’s students from different years and nationalities, the Board reflects LIS’s international character and the variety of perspectives within our society. While some members bring continuity from previous boards, others contribute fresh ideas and energy, ensuring a balance between experience and renewal. This mix of backgrounds and stages of study strengthens our ability to lead LIS with responsibility, foster innovation in research, and create meaningful opportunities for our members and partners.
Fiscal Council
Appointed in May 2025, the Fiscal Council of the Lisbon Investment Society serves as the independent supervisory body of the association. Bringing together students with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, it reviews financial activity, issues opinions on budgets and statements, and ensures compliance with the Society’s statutes. Composed of members from different academic levels and nationalities, the Council reflects LIS’s international and multidisciplinary nature while upholding a culture of responsibility and transparency. By combining rigor with independence, the Fiscal Council strengthens the governance of LIS and supports its mission of excellence.
General Assembly
Appointed in May 2025, the General Assembly of the Lisbon Investment Society is the sovereign body of the association, ensuring that the voices of all members are represented. Composed of a President, Vice President, and Secretary, it oversees the proper functioning of LIS by convening meetings, approving key documents such as the annual plan and budget, and safeguarding adherence to the statutes. Bringing together students from different nationalities and stages of study, the Assembly reflects the diversity of the Society while reinforcing its democratic spirit. By combining transparency, accountability, and participation, the General Assembly guarantees that LIS remains a community built by and for its members.
